You will also be responsible for stock take ensuring that all medications are carried and wherever re-ordered if indeed out of stock, record keeping, traceability and audit trail of and medications dispensed or indeed delivered.

There may be an opportunity with this role to transfer across into a permanent contract for the right person. This is a part- time post working 3 days per week (days are flexible, Monday is a requirement).

The post holder will ensure appropriate stocks are maintained in their clinical area reporting any shortfall to their line manager
The post holder will actively participate in clinical supervision in line with local policies
Dispense all prescriptions received by the pharmacy department
Ensure a safe delivery of prescribed prescriptions to individual patients on the wing, by visiting each wing on a daily basis.
Evaluate prescriptions and refer problems as necessary to the pharmacist or doctor
